Red Bull Project Recap

Written by project manager Michael Henry PSE Miami helped Red Bull North America promote an collegiate event known as Red Bull Chariot Race, which took place at Miami University on October 21, 2014. Student teams comprised of 3 students built homemade chariots and raced them in a 1 v 1 double elimination style tournament. The event was around 2 hours and took place in an off campus parking lot. Red Bull provided hay to make the track, a giant inflatable arch, a huge street light and even bought in the Red Bull Fire Truck event car. The Fire Truck travels around the Midwest, DJing nightly around the nation using its pop up DJ booth. This was truly an unreal scene! Challenged with an extremely short timeline of 2.5 weeks, our 5 members were extremely effective with this A&P project. They signed up 13 teams of 3 to build their own chariots & race and attracted an audience of 150 people, all on a Tuesday night at 7 PM. This was a true success and definitely one of the coolest things to happen on Miami’s campus this year! Check out some photos from the event:
